Since I bought the vehicle home from the dealer, I have been running the "normal" tire load setting with the elevated tire pressures. I never carry a real load in the truck, except passengers. That weight is typically ~500# for a total of four people. I'm wondering if its worth reducing the tire pressures and running at "reduced" tire load.

In my full-size pick-up I am used to pressuring up for towing or heavy hauling, but pressuring down for comfort, better traction, and to get better tire wear. Wouldn't lower pressures in the L494 be more comfortable and give better traction? Would the trade-off be reduced gas mileage? Am I over-thinking this?

Are any of you guys running the reduced pressures? If so what are your experiences?
