I was told today by three different vendors that the steel brake lines are no longer available for P38. What size steel line and fittings do I need for P38? Any sources in the US would be appreciated. I know where to get the tools for bending and making flares, but I need the actual raw material (galvanized steel tubing and fittings). Thanks.

fittings, you can cut you lines and reuse the fittings, otherwise find thread pitch and order from ebay, steel brake line is normally 3/16. english cars use bubble flare, it can me made with regular flaring tool but if doing more than a couple this is much easier
classictube.com/product/universal-hydraulic-flaring-tool-kit/ make sure it has the die kit for the bubble flare.
