What should new shock absorbers and steering damper sound like?

Got myself some new shocks and a steering damper
it rides great but when ever i take a turn i hear screechy sound coming of the steering damper and on speedbumps i hear the shock absorbers.
Is this normal?

i have the Boge shock absorbers STC3671G
and Armstrong ANR2640A steering damper

Steering dampers do not make any noises. The screeching you describe when turning sounds like the steering pump or belt, have you checked the power steering oil? or the drive belt?
Again, shock asorbers should not make any noise other than a short hiss of air when going fast over a big bump.

so for my shock absorbers the his/puf on speedbumps is normal.
i did not notice that with the old dampers

The steering fluid is ok i'm pretty sure it's not the belt.
but i guess i will crawl under the car and ask the mises to turn the wheel
