Does anyone know who makes our axles.....ie Dana etc?  I'm looking at some possible lockers, and was trying to figure out what was under our trucks.

No not Dana, Rover did things properly and designed their own diffs. ARB lockers are arguably the best. If you looking at lockers for both ends, bear in mind they're not the same.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong I am sure, but I thought the diffs were the same after ~99 models. Didnt they change from 2 pin to 4 pin up front which made front and back both 4 pin diffs?

The axles are indeed a Rover design, only used on the P38a.
Lockers are easily available, ARB is a very good choice, but the new Ashcroft Airlockers have the same benefits, but seem to be better designed and are cheaper as well. I've used them for about 6 months now, and would recommend them to anyone.
Front and rear diffs are interchangeable, depending on the model and year standard diffs will be 2 or 4 pin, ARB and Ashcroft are the same, TrueTracs have different contactfaces front and rear for maximum efficiency.
