I changed my oil, and while doing so, I discovered that the oil was not draining out of the oil filter housing. The advice I was given was to take the filter housing off and clean it, make sure the little springs weren't grimed up. Easy enough. In taking apart the housing and cleaning, I found a little piece of chewed-up plastic in what I think is the drain-back line. Is this normal (see pics) or do you think someone put it there to prevent drain-back? (It came out of the port facing up)
