As thread title. I am working on replacing the LH (passenger) front door actuator and found this in the bottom of the door. Any ideas? I'm not much of a mechanic and these things worry me.

I think that I will conclude that it was the work of some scally in Solihull. Thanks for the replies.

if the window doesn't rattle and the door handle works, put the metal bit in the bin...

I can see the card stowage working here but wouldn't the pack just drop out into the head-lining in your parts!

It would but we have a thing called gravity that works quite well down here.
