Carpathian grey 2019. Ive been debating weather I should black the lettering out or not, since Carpathian grey is dark I feel like the letters migh be lost in the dark paint. Here’s a picture -

I’d leave it alone. I like the contrast. You can always plastidip it as a test to see if you like the look at minimal cost and commitment.
I ordered mine Carpathian Grey with the black out lettering. Although I get it's not everyone's cup of tea. It won't be here until the end of next month, so I cannot post any pictures of it. But here are two videos of that particular color combination so you can see for yourself what it looks like.

I think silver is the best. I have a Santorini black Sport with silver letters and it just pops beautifully, black lettering just makes it look so bland, like an Explorer...
Like I said, different strokes for different folks. I think the black makes it look more aggressive... the opposite of bland. I also wanted the black lettering because I ordered the 22" black rims. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
I say go black, but only if you either paint or wrap the bottom valance piece in black also.

Live the blacked out look. ?

But I’m biased.

Black works if everything is black, so like jjvd21 says you should darken the trim piece and maybe the rims too.

Haha just noticed that Matthewjlove even has a black California license plate to match everything--well done!

If you are keeping the rims as they are, I would stick with how it is.
Black it all out. Letters, fender and hood vents, wheels, tint. I have Corris Gray, and love everything about the blacked out look. I get lots of compliments.
I would black the lettering out..Alternatively I've painted my lettering to match my calipers. In my case my Cayenne Turbo was black with Yellow Calipers so I had the lettering done in yellow. It looked sharp.

After seeing this picture I’m going to keep the silver, doesn’t look right. Gets lost in the hood. Thanks for the input guys very much appreciated.

Do you have a pic of the Cayenne? That sounds kind of cool, want to see it
I sold it a while ago but I'll see if I can dig up a picture

I wouldnt go black, the lettering will disappear into the hood, then it looks like a ford explorer. have you thought about making it about two shades lighter gray than the body color, would still give the stealth look, but also just be noticeable to set it apart from the explorers'.

Sounds like you've made up your mind. I'm also biased, but I think blacked out is the way to go. I had originally spec'd with silver, but when I went to put my order in, I saw one blacked out that was already sold. I immediately changed the order. Because the Carpathian Grey color changes in different lighting, the letters don't appear "lost" to me. But I have seen one with silver and with the diamond cut wheels that looked pretty good also. With that being said, if you're in Southern CA, then I suggest you go with the silver so we don't run into each other. 8)
(and yes, the black license plate is a must if it's an option)

I have Corris gray and want to black out everything. Are people wrapping and plasti-dipping or some other way?

Did you black it out after purchase, or ordered it that way? I have Corris gray and want to black out, but not sure if paint, wrap or plasti-dip is best way to go?
