Depends on what you are cleaning. You really have not given us enough info to even begin to answer.

The walnut blasting will much more effective at cleaning carbon deposits. I had a turbocharged Mini Cooper which was notorious for carbon build up. A chemical treatment like BG's will be very slow if it works at all and you run the risk of possible loosening deposits, which can travel elsewhere.8~
