Is this a joke?

The BECM is a complex piece of hardware and there is no way anybody will be able to help from that little snippett of information given.

What year of Car?
Type? 4.6.4.0 HSE/SE
Why was the old BECM removed?
Where was the new BECM purchased?

Thanks,

Stu

Hi

The BECM needs to be loaded with the parameters of the car like the VIN and the code for the keyfobs (all settings for the model like sun roof fitted, LHD or RHD, 2.5D or 4.0 or 4.6, etc etc.)

The after this the BECM must be synchronised with the engine ECU with the help of a diagnostic computer. Only after this will the BECM allow the engine to be turned over and started.

There are a few good posts in the past on how the BECm works and problems there can be.

Good luck

you might try to seach for "EKA 1515" - that is the emergency key access code to reset the theft protection / engine disable.

Not strickly true, the 1515 is only valid in the US.Other countries using the EKA system have a discrete code for each vehicle. :thumb:
