Hi guys

So I proceeded to remove both the middle resonators and replaced them with a straight pipe. I am not very happy with how it sounds. At light throttle, there is a nice rumble to it. At WOT, it's too raspy for my liking.

I will do either of the following steps next:

1. Put one resonator back instead of 2.
2. Instead of a straight pipe, add in an xpipe hoping it will help with the rasp.
3. Put both the resonators back and try a muffler delete instead

Anyone with experience doing any of the above, please share your views on how either of the options might sound. It might save me some money going back and forth.

Thanks !

I agree, the exhaust sound on your video is raspy (and tinny on throttle release). If you've not already gone for something else I'd recommend the Quicksilver Supersport exhaust (their part# LR500S). I had one fitted to my 2018 SC a week ago and I love it. Deep V8 sound at all revs, loud but not obnoxious, doesn't pop, doesn't drone at motorway speeds.

When I get round to it I'll video mine, for now I just have a photo I took with my phone yesterday...

This looks like a 2013-2017 rear bumper, not a 2018.

To install the Quicksilver Supersport my LR dealer had to remove the two chrome surrounds from the 2018 bumper, since the Supersport exhaust tips could not come through those (or they would have rattled like hell if they did). They were very simple to remove and without them indeed there is no visual difference between the 2013-2017 bumper and the 2018 bumper. This next photo is better for identifying the car and year ;-)
