About a month ago, I let a friend borrow my range knowing that it needed the heater core o-ring replaced. needless to say, he overheated it and continued to drive it all the way to my house. thinking complete rebuild since it wont even turn over now, it just clicks one time with every key turn. FML. been driving an 89 Toyota Wagon that i picked up for cheap.

Has the battery gone flat?

Have you confirmed that the engine has packed up completely?

need a volt meter, how much juice is inthe battery? sounds like it went flat, probably didn't overheat just all the gauges went crazy when the voltage level dropped too low

See Greg's electrical sticky at the top of the forum. Just go through the tests noting your results.
