I think you will find that the entire SVR moniker is going to be phased out They have never been able to meet production schedules, The high end SVR paint program was a complete dismal failure.

Don't forget that Ford is no longer supplying LR with engines.

Maybe the rumours of no RRS SVR in 2020 model year is because they will rebrand it under SVA Autioboigraphy Dynamic like the Velar. Maybe SVR will be a Jaguar only nomenclature starting in 2020 commensurate with the more performance image of the Jaguar brand.

I’ve also noticed it doesn’t seem to have active exhaust. Or it does have it but I haven’t been able to confirm.
Seems like the SVA line is more luxury vs SVR is more sporty.

Love the interior though.

I just noticed the term “Fluid Dynamic” software mentioned in the online exhaust description. Is this some sort of Marketing gimmick or is it relevant? I have not seen this term used in descriptions of the RRS SVR exhaust writeups.

It might have something to do with the analogue vs digital nature of the active exhaust?

Ie
RRS SVR 2015-2017- the active exhaust was more digital/on and off. There wasn’t an in between.
RRS SVR 2018+ - they came out with an new active exhaust that adjusted the exhaust from closed to fully open. Which gave it its ‘dynamic’ exhaust options.
I personally liked the pre 2017 exhausts better but only slightly.

Have you gotten anymore info on your order?

Drove a Velar on the weekend and was quite impressed. Pricing and configuration details for the Velar SVA in Canada not available yet, although the UK site has everything. My bet is the Velar SVA will start at about $125k. Waiting to decide between the 2020 Velar SVA versus the 2020 RRS SVR once information about both is available to make an informed decision.
