I took my car in to get a quote to do some touching up work the guy said he needs the paint code any one know were to get this my first idea was microcat via my vin number but I cant get microcat to open

i feel like it may be inside your driver's door on the plate or under the hood on the plate. not certain though. i think someone mentioned that once...could be mistaken. check there.

Should be on a sticker on the slam panel under the hood. There should be the paint name as well as two LR part numebrs. One for spray, the other for touch up. i.e.; Beluga Black, RTC5979A Aerosol, RTC5979T Touch-up.

the only number i can see on the slam panel is the words and numbers paint 574 does this mean anything to anyone?

Yup, that's a Classic carry over only on the P38 for 1996. It's Niagra Grey.

Paint code 574 is listed as Niagra, which I believe is a shade of grey. The # should be all the body shop needs to match your color.

574 is indeed Niagara. A dark grey that can be mistaken for black on a dull day.
