The vacuum advance on the distributor is very loose, but not sure that is effecting anything. Just happened to notice that it was loose while changing the thermostat today.

Looks like I'm missing one screw on the back, and the one in front won't tighten very well.

Anyone know how those attach, is there nuts behind the distributor cylinder?

If I recall correctly, it is held on with two 3.5mm screws which are tapped into the distributor housing.

I remember having some problems sourcing the screws (it was 10 years ago).

I still need to look into this, been busy with other stuff...doesn't seem to be doing much harm but need to secure it. I believe the hoses are fine.

Looks like you upgraded your old Rangie, heh?

Sometimes I'm not sure if it was an upgrade or downgrade. `)

That's why I keep my '88, it is simpler in some ways, although it's not worth very much money, it's easy enough for me to work on in many cases. The fact that it is not worth a lot doesn't give me concern to work on if I need to. Some of the plastic seems to get brittle over time though, is the newer model better in that regard?

Doesn't your '95 have the air suspension on it still?

Yep, that's the one. I'm pretty sure they are 3.5mm screws.
