Trying to decide between the basic V8 and the Supercharged engines. Will not be towing or hauling heavy loads. Will not be driving off road much (at least not intentionally).

Given the weight, does the normally aspirated V8 feel underpowered?

I am concerned about fuel consumption. Does anyone know the actual city/highway mpg for the V8 and SC? (Not the sticker estimates, but real world driving experiences?)

^ You don't hafta wait. Land Rover of Cary (NC) has 7 coming in very soon. I test drove a black one on Saturday and loved it!

All their SC versions are pre-sold, but the NA ones coming in are selling at MSRP. I nearly bought the black one, but sense hit me and I realize I gotta get a home first, then a car.

June edition of CAR says that since you have to 'flog' the regular V8 version more than the SC one, the real world fuel mileage should be about the same; hence I'd say get the SC version; especially since everything is pretty much standard on it.
