Hello,

I'm here to request assistance and help in my troubleshooting with my second Range.

It's a Range Rover Sport from 2012, 5.0L V8, that i had imported from USA, currently .

I had 3 fault codes :
P0023 - Exhaust (B) Camshaft position actuator circuit.
P054B - Cold start exhaust (B) camshaft position. Timing over-retarded.
P0340 - Camshaft position sensor A circuit (Bank 1)

I successfully fixed the last error by changing the camshaft position sensor, but remains P0023 and P054B that I cannot diagnose properly.

I'm mechanic, but those kind of engines are not my cup of tea... too much electronic systems :roll: And here I don"t have access to official and skilled garage.

Thanks in advance for your help.

So I tried to unplugged the font right (Bank 1) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT), just to confirm that it will give the same error on the other Bank.

P0013 - Exhaust (B) Camshaft position actuator circuit. (Bank 1) => Correct

So i've re-plug this VCT, erase errors with ODB2 display (ACTRON CP9680) but... Still P0013 error that I cannot erase at all.

Does someone can help me for understanding please ?

Thx
