I thought it would be nice to use an Amazon FireTV Stick in my new 2018 RR. I plugged the USB and HDMI in and the screen popped right up. The video quality is fantastic, but the audio is terrible. It crackles and pops and hisses. Almost like a huge grounding issue. I tried every HDMI port in the car with the same results.

I also tried an SNES classic, and that sounds and looks fine.

There doesn't seem to be any issue with the firestick, it works fine on my TV in the house. I tried disabling any sort of Dolby Digital settings on the firestick, didn't make any difference.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the tip. I ordered a new Roku and it works great. Back to the mothership goes the Firestick
