I'm looking for a low mileage used RR V8 Supercharged in the 2015-2016 year range. I'm willing to travel up to 300 miles away to purchase.

I'm in Jacksonville FL and am seeing prices around 95K in the Southeast for a used 2015 RR V8 with 4K miles. Then I build a new RR on landrover.com and a comparably equipped 2017 model comes out to 105K. Is it realistic to only see a 10K discount on a 2 year older car? Doesn't seem realistic to me, but I have not yet started any face to face or phone negotiation at this point.

What would you consider a realistic and fair price for a 2015 RR V8 with 4K, standard equipped? I was thinking 85K max, but perhaps I am not being realistic.

Thoughts?

kbb tells us that trade-in on a '15 with 4K miles is roughly $84K. So, a dealer is probably going to start out asking $90.

You might do better looking at a new leftover '16.

I was going to post that there's a dealer where I live that has a 2015 full size SC with 6,000 miles for $79,900, BUT it's a manufacturer buy back.

Then I see that you live in Jacksonville also.

Definitely one of those buyer beware deals but man it's a good price.

Have you spoken to the local dealer yet? I got an email saying they were offering $5,000 off MSRP for all full size 2016's. Imagine you can get more with some effort. If you haven't spoken to them yet send me a PM and I can send you the info for the guy who helped me.

Looks like they have one on the lot that fits your criteria:

noone - welcome.

From next week expect to be looking at L405 Range Rover's standard trim in the example you've asked above in 5.0 N/A from US$85k and 5.0 S/c from US$94k.

Used models from an MY16 vintage would've covered on average 22000 miles per annum and remember Range Rover asking prices start "from US$100K" base.

Cheerio,

Vinniman.
