Interesting - I re-built my order just to see what would happen and it looks like there have been some changes. The black sliding panoramic roof is now a no-cost option, the Climate Comfort package is gone (but both elements of it are stand-alone options now) and the 4-zone climate shows as a no-cost option. The same build comes out to almost $1100 less in terms of MSRP. I realize the configurators aren't always right, so I reached out to my salesman who confirmed there were a host of changes and pricing hasn't been updated yet in their system. He confirmed the roof is now a no-cost option but is still showing a cost for the 4-zone climate control. You can now configure your new models including the new HST on the land rover usa website.
The black contrast sliding sunroof was standard on the atb just as it was for the the hse Dynamic. The only was you might have seen an incorrect price of $625 is if you tried to build it online. I stated in another post that there was an error in the configurator when selecting the climate package and the black roof it added the charge BUT when your dealer entered the order into the vista system it does not add the additional price. If for some reason you were charged than you are owed a refund.Interesting - I re-built my order just to see what would happen and it looks like there have been some changes. The most interesting update from him is that the ATB is seeing a $550 price increase as of 4/2 (and all models will see an increase of some kind on 4/2/19). That about covers the savings for the roof, so at the moment my build is $115 cheaper.![]()
I brought it up with the salesman yesterday and he agreed that the price should be reduced by the amount of the roof, but he also said that JLR is raising the price of the ATB by $550 on 4/2 ao my net savings will only be $115...The black contrast sliding sunroof was standard on the atb just as it was for the the hse Dynamic. My dealer made it perfectly clear that the pricing is not set until the vehicle is built and invoiced.Put your order in now with a down payment that can be cancelled so you can get the current pricing.
I put my order in 2 weeks ago with a $1000 deposit. In the end I expect to pay what was agreed to subject to any pricing changes up or down once the car is built.Put your order in now with a down payment that can be cancelled so you can get the current pricing.
This is correct. That's not how it is. When you order a car, it will be built in the future and things might change between your order and delivery. The deposit is refundable. What you're describing is a sale process, which the order isn't. This is the disclaimer of the order you put in. It's at the bottom of every page, printed from the ordering system:
"While JLRNA strives to provide accurate information, certain changes in standard equipment, options, prices, availability or delays may occur that may not be
reflected. Options shown or described may be available at extra cost and may be offered only in combination with other options or subject to additional ordering
requirements or limitations. The information, price, state charges and fees, specification and colors provided herein may differ and are subject to change without

Yes it does say that but didn't you guys get a signed agreement to purchase with all items and final price before placing the order. I agree the vista order sheet shows that but the yellow sales agreement does not so that is what i was talking about. Because I didnt get the order sheet until a month after i signed the agreement. That's not how it is. I have both a signed purchase contract (based on the MSRP of the vehicle ordered with all options - discount + taxes, with my trade to be appraised and accounted for at time of delivery (which will reduce sales tax owed in MA)) and the order printout from the JLR system with the disclaimer you noted above. Based on the latest pricing info available, with changes to option packages and pricing and an MSRP increase, my purchase price should be virtually the same.you can get the order sheet as soon as your order is in.
no, I didn't get any agreement. The process is basically this: I email what I want (usually, a configurator URL), I get an email printout of the order (with the estimated cost) and then sign the p&s when the vehicle arrives. dealerships are independent, they have their own (or their own corporate) rules.
I find them signing an agreement before the order is confirmed funny, since they buy said vehicle from JLR when it's invoiced - them "selling" beforehand is a rather risky business, but what do I know.
I put my order on February 4 and am still waiting on confirmation that the order has been accepted by the factory. And I'm still waiting on an official build and delivery date from the factory. How about you? What's your status?I put my order in 2 weeks ago with a $1000 deposit. In the end I expect to pay what was agreed to subject to any pricing changes up or down once the car is built.
I didn't get a signed agreement with a purchase price when I ordered mine, and I was glad that I didn't. For one, I want to be able to negotiate the price when they actually have the vehicle (and may be more inclined to come down on price in order to sell it because if they don't they will have to find a buyer who wants the car the way I customized it). I figured they would not want to haggle over price during the ordering phase, because there is no incentive for them to do so.Yes it does say that but didn't you guys get a signed agreement to purchase with all items and final price before placing the order. I ordered on 2/8, Amendments to the order were locked on 2/27, Build date is 3/29 with delivery of 5/3. This info is about 2 weeks old now, now sure if any of those dates have changed.I put my order on February 4 and am still waiting on confirmation that the order has been accepted by the factory. And I'm still waiting on an official build and delivery date from the factory. How about you? What's your status?

You didn't get your 4-page order detail? That has all of the information on it.
