That's right. 2007 and later edition data DVDs wipe out the bypass code when you first load the new disc into the drive under the seat, and there is no going back to the older firmware after that happens. Of course, this is only a problem in North America. In countries abroad, the on-the-move restrictions were removed years ago by Land Rover.

Has anyone with a 06MY updated there Nav with a new disc? Are the colors any different ie brighter ??
i was in a 09MY LR4 and the colors on the Nav are like a beige and much brighter blue, i tried to brighten my screen but its at its limit and the colors dont even come close to the 09MY. Besides the update in information ie roads etc are the colors much brighter after the update?
