Well my data connection totally died a couple days ago in my ‘18 Sport. I’ve been using the T-Mobile sim with the $10 data plan, worked great and was at 4G. Now I keep getting the unsupported sim message and removing and reinserting the sim card doesn’t change anything. I put the old AT&T sim card in and get the same message. Therefore I don’t think it’s the sim. Could it be that the multimedia module where the Sim card inserts failed? Is it easy to replace the module? Any ideas?

replaced and now it works!
Mine needed to be replaced too, now it works. Sometimes it still doesn't work at start up, have to turn data off then on, which I think is a software issue, need a 18E or F update when it's out.
