I have discovered two things on my truck that I haven’t seen on any of the others I have owned.

They definitely look to have been added at some point, can anyone here help me identify what they are and what they do?

The first pic is probably a self-resetting circuit breaker being used to replace the 10 amp brake switch fuse. Does it have a amp rating on it?

Does the car have an aftermarket trailer brake controller?

I have no idea that the second pic is of.

Hey thanks! I did actually have a brake controller that I have since removed.

I have no idea what the other thing is...

It looks like it could be a Tantalum capacitor. There isn't one shown in the ETM but as it appears to be in the wiring to the ignition coils it could be there for interference suppression and just not shown on the diagram (like the blocking diodes in the underbonnet fusebox are there but not shown on the diagrams).
