My old and battered trolley jack has finally expired.About to purchase a new one suitable for the P38.Probably a 3ton version.Any recommendations and experiences for ones readily available in the UK? :think:

Hi John I was in the same predicament 2months back.

it looks well made and it lifts higher than my last jack.
I just hope it lasts as long ,20 years it's got tobeat

Halfraurds are selling one for 4x4's for Thirty odd quid. looks ok.

I bought one of these - http://www.ccw-tools.com/product.asp?P_ID=4532&af=1792 about a year ago. At the time it was on offer and I paid about £180 and got an excellent set of spanners worth £100 free :dance:
It was brilliant for lifting the RR up really high when I did a transmission swap, but it then failed - got stuck in the extended position under the transmission. It was repaired by Sealey and has been fine since.
Be aware it is big and heavy and if you use it to it's full height you will also need some serious axle stands - I have a set of four of these -
