Hello to all. New member here. I have a 2010 RRS. Trans flushed at 125K miles been running perfectly till recently. Now I am having intermittent, not constant, issue. I'm driving and the car just falls out of Drive. The gear shift does not move in any way. No noises. It's all very seamless and silent. I slip it into command shift and back to drive and problem solved. Dealership seems to think it's a linkage issue. I don't trust the dealer. My indie mechanic who is awesome checked for codes and nothing.

Has anybody out there had a similar issue?

Thanks!

Could very well be the physical linkage issue, not an electronic gremlin. Underneath the shifter is a cable running thru a plastic grommet, mine did the same, would not appear to move, but would drop out of Drive , so I replaced the shifter and problem solved. You can buy a used part from Roverland Parts to save some bucks...
