With about 75K on the clock now (2008 NA), I plan to do a transmission pan/filter/fluid change. My question is, are you guys doing a full flush or just adding/topping off the 4 or so quarts that you lose when dropping the pan. I have been hearing from independent and LR mechanics that its not worth the potential problems and headaches that could lead from doing a full flush. With the extra cost of more fluid aside, many believe that you will do more harm than good by doing a FULL flush. They say the filter change is most important and that there have been horror stories regarding our trannys after a full fluid flush (I realize there is variable here of what kind of mileage was on the rig).

Any thoughts from the experienced here?
