I am getting now the Transmission Fault, HDC Inactive, Suspension Lowered messages, with the 3 lights on ABS, DSC, traction control. These stay on, but the car is driving normal, sometimes I noticed that the car was driving at normal height, other times it had actually lowered.

A scan gave me the following codes
P0071 P0172 P0441 P2601 P0730 P0562
U0424 U0155 U1A4A U0401 U0402 U0416 U0403 U0421 U2016 U0248 U0184 U3000 U2016

2 years ago, it would give HDC Inactive message, Suspension Lowered. This would happen out of the blue, I'd shut off and restart the car and all would be normal. Did this for about a year until I replaced the battery and it didn't recur until a month ago. Started intermittently sending the HDC inactive message. The now it sends the transmission fault, followed by the HDC inactive and now is permanently on.

When I shut off the car I notice 3 squeaks from the centre of the body. I have no idea what that is.

I changed transmission filter and fluid 10 months ago as I noticed leak drops on the floor.

Current battery tests show 12.4 with car off, and 14.3 when running. I thought 12.4 is a low value, so I had it connected to battery tender for 3 days and that didn't help with the warning lights. I jump started it with another running car (so battery showed 14.3V before starting the rover) that didn't help either. So I don't think it is a battery issue.

Any suggestions what to do next or what the above codes mean?

What a coincidence. I just experienced this same thing for the 1st time on my 2007 SC yesterday.

The warning lights and error messages popped up as I was coming to a red light. I continued on about 10 minutes until I got home and when I restarted the vehicle, everything was fine again. No check engine lights or error messages. My scan tool didn't pick up any diagnostics codes either. Everything seems back to normal driving it today but I am suspecting it might simply be the early stages of a faulty brake light switch. I will have to keep monitoring it from hereon.

Can anyone translate any of the codes listed above?

Regarding the brake light switch, I've read quite a few posts about it, but they all seem to be on the LR3, none on the RR
