Hello all, first post here. I've done a lot of searching and can't seem to find anything to help with my recently developed issue. Yesterday, randomly, the touchscreen on my 06 RRSSC decided to stop working. A few times after restarting the NAV screen would just load to the system settings, off road navigation, etc. screen and wouldn't even load up the normal LR logo at the beginning. Finally after taking out the DVD and reloading it, the system starts up properly but the touchscreen is still unresponsive. Both of the hard buttons below the screen work fine. I've also tried a hard battery reset but that didn't solve the problem either. Anyone have any suggestions short of taking it to the dealer?

Finally made it to Kansas City today (my closest dealer) and found out the problem is in fact a bad navigation screen. Needless to say the dealer price for a replacement was ridiculous so if anyone has one for sale let me know!

Oh it definitely hurt! I had my fingers crossed for a software update fix or something small...not the $3700 price tag to get it fixed. I've done a little searching online and located a used screen for about $1000 which still seems expensive but much better than $3700.

Roverland was the site I found as well. Seems like most of the places I have looked don't sell any parts for the navigation. Hopefully I come across a few more, but from what you and others have said Roverland is a good place so their price is probably fair.

Might want to check with former sponsor Car Cannibal as well. The company has reported money problem (some forum members here sold them their used Land Rover recently and were never paid, the reason why they are no longer sponsors of this forum), which means they might be desperate for money and may give you a great deal if they happen to have a RRS touchscreen in stock. Probably not the ethical thing to do but hey, you are trying to save a buck here. Just make sure NOT to send them a check, credit card only!
