285/35/22 is what I had when I was on 22s.

i had 285/35 on my first couple of sets (22x10 rim) and just went with a 265/35 last time round. honestly, the ride has been just as good if not better and the price is definitely a lot more friendlier. I purchased a set of pirelli scorpion zero assimetricos for approx $750 shipped.

you can check out a couple recent pics in the gallery.

FYI, the width on the wheels now are 22x9.5

Those wheels are awesome!

I think I want a little more sidewall though, seattle is tough on the wheels you know. I'm guessing that it will be significantly more expensive though .

285-40-22 is the largest tire that will fit without rubbing in all modes.

Pics all over the forum, I have the Falken Ziex

The larger sidewall makes the car look slammed in access mode. I like them alot, I would have been sad if I went with 285-35-22's...

265-35-22 would be narrow-er than I have now and shorter...

OE 20" size is a 275/40/20

22" size with roughly the same as factory diameter is 295/30/22

You can go to 285/35/22 with slight speedo error and thicker sidewall but no rubbing or other adverse effects.

The 285/40/22 will physcially fit, but it is quite a bit oversize from the OE tire which = a lot of speedo error..personally, I wouldn't go this route myself, but that being said, it should still fit.
