I recently had, and still have, and issue with my steering wheel shimmying. The dealer told me that it was a bent rim since they swapped the wheels from a new RRS and it was gone. Before they determined that they did change my right half shaft due to excessive play and they put new tires, Toyo Proxes ST, on the rims. I'm currently saving up for new rims but since I picked up the truck I've had new issue pop up. Besides the shimmy I know have a vibration in the steering wheel, predominantly on the left side, starting at 30 mph. Could this be road and tire feedback I'm getting of the new tires? Does anyone else who has Toyos have feedback through the steering wheel? If it's not that what else could it be? In my Audi and BMW that could be a bearing or could this have something to do with the half shaft since only the right side was exchanged? Any info would be appreciated.
