Hello all

Another question I need help with,my RRS has 126k on the clock should I get the timing chain changed and any idea of cost

You are going to have to give more information bud. It's impossible for anyone to tell any real information on your rig such as year and whether your vin falls in the range of affected vehicles without it.

Yes I agree - vehicle will help - as the OP is from the UK it is most likely a diesel (if a V6 has a mix of chains and belts - diesel V8s are all chains) but for chains the basic rules apply - basically fitted for life and drive until the chain becomes noisy or rattly and then will normally be the tensioner failing - then replace the lot.

So if it is not rattling do nothing as they are not a service item.
