Ok, so i think i'm actually going to go through with the 350 swap... the block on my 89 RRC 3.9 cracked, and is useless... since i'm already pulling out the engine i figured i may attempt a swap. I've already got a free 350 out of my brother's 85 chevy C10, i'm going to give it new head gaskets and get the heads checked and everything so it will be pretty much a rebuilt 350. I've found this site via some folks on here - http://www.mez.co.uk/chevyupgrade.html he shows some of his steps in the conversion. My main concern now is finding the proper adapters for the 350 to fit the original transmission in the rover, as well as engine mounts. Is this something that can be made by a local machinist, or are the parts very scarce? Thanks in advance, and once i get rolling with the project i will be posting alot of pictures, and will be offering my old heads, intake and all that good stuff.

Great score dude, checkout http://www.marks4wd.com which has for sale all the items required for your new install I think Advance Adapters gets the kits too ?

If your brothers 350 donk is the cast iron version, your Rangie will need it's suspension beefed up to cope with the additional mass over the front wheels Mista !
