Got it for 3 years 100k miles for 2400. Did I get shafted or what? I figure the gamble of the repairs vs opportunity cost isn't that bad.
No that is a good price, I didn't know EasyCare did LR warranties. Mind giving us your year and mileage so I can approximate what it might cost me? Also, what is your deductible?Goinkin said:I don't know if I got suckered or not but I bought the EasyCare Total Warranty from the LR dealer.

Yep, it's pretty much peace of mind for x amount of $. Sounds like you're set. :thumb:Goinkin said:Good point! Stop making so much sense, this is an internet forum after all!![]()
I think you just need to butter up the Finance Manager. I just sent a buddy over there and he got it for 3k flat.lakbum said:I was going to comment that was a pretty decent price...for that much, I'd get one too. However, when I spoke to my dealership about extended warranty, they were quoting somewhere from 3500-4500. I'm sure it doesn't cost that much but its just dealer profit that they are adding. I wish I knew a way to negotiate it down.
I was very in tune with the HOT Finance Manager, if you know what I mean. I flirted. We laughed. And since I had just bought the car from them, she was in a generous mood. *wishes*ET7 said:are you serious? I called a dealer in Santa Monica and he quoted me $4,080 with 250 each time it visits them...for 3 years.
Not worth 4,000 but 2k is a steal!
anyone have iadvice on how to do this? whats easycare btw? is it full coverage?
I can comment on EasyCare, though not with my RRS. I had one when I bought my '03 Mustang Cobra and though I only used it a couple times, it was great. The dealership makes the diagnosis, calls easy care to verify that it's covered, and easy care sends the dough right to the dealership. It is an inclusionary policy, so just read the fine print as to what it covers. EasyCare has been around for a long time and has a relationship with Ford.ET7 said:are you serious?
