Thinking of going retro with my range
A colleague and I have been discussing today blending the looks of early 70s and 80s range rovers with the benefits of the late classics.
I quite fancy fitting the early grille, bumpers, fitting rostyle wheels, bonnet side badges and taking off the spoiler, vogue badge, exterior trim off my 1993 classic
Has anyone done this and do you have any pictures of some retro upgrades?

I think you should do it. I really like the look of the original RRs. I've tried to do as much as I can. I wish I could find some rostyle wheels.

As longs as it's a hard dash i think you'll get away with it.The 93 interior would ruin the effect

It's a hard dash and my cloth seats look similar to the mid eighties ones.

Looking though those photos of those cars made me want one even more.
I just cannot believe they have lasted so long! Mine is a 93, every time I reveal some new rust in the engine bay, in the door jambs or under neath I know its getting closer to the end! I will be gutted when it finally does. still a few years left I hope.

I'd spend the time welding it up if its solid enough to have an MOT...
I have got myself some rostyles! Need to source some nice chunky tyres to complete the look.
