When truck sits overnight abs pump I presume runs for about 45 secs and then lights go out.
Abs pump runs for a second or two every other time I apply the brakes. From reading I assume
its the break accumulator. I have an extended warranty $250 US deductable. Would
it be cheaper to try myself or just have the dealer repair it for the 250? Sounds like
the part is around $200 USD. Is it a tough job? Thanks.

I didn't catch the year of your rangie and your performance is better than ours after a new oem accumulator. So I would not rush into a new one. Pressure is designed to bleed off over a few hours so that is normal. See long standing post by our HSE. Ours runs for several seconds after every 2nd use of the pedal. Not as perfect as I have read but not out in left field either. I replaced ours 1.5 years ago. Went from 1 pump to 2 pumps.
