Im starting to hate my truck so much!! I just replaced my airshock got the truck eas back to normal.. Now it seems the knob w the dots for the climate control knob spins freely wont stop on either max cool or heat.. what behind there ? a cable? how do I pop off the vent to fix it ? If its stuck on heat will it keep my ac from kicking on?

thanks for replying> what read out do u refer to ? I feel a temperature change with the knobs but my max ac button does not enable for some reason.. im thinking the broken dial knob in the middle has somtehing to do with it?

I think this chap may mean the "Thumbwheel" on the Vents that controls the flow of Hot/Cold air to the Driver/passengers face/body...(Not the Temperature Dials on the Heating Panel)

WSM Says:

On both the low and high line heater assemblies, a blend flap is installed below the face level outlets. The blend flap
is driven by a Bowden cable connected to a thumbwheel on the centre face vents in the fascia, and allows the
temperature of face level air to be modified with cold air direct from the evaporator.

Fingers crossed it's broken in the middle position.
