I have been getting a minor vibration when driving which seems to be most noticeable in the 60-70mph range and/or in a higher torque situation (loading the engine right before a transmission downshift). So, im working through my list trying to eliminate what I can as far as the cause.
One question I have is if the amount I can move the rear driveshaft at the center bushing is acceptable or not?

That is fine. I just replaced mine due to the rubber diaphragm being totally ripped. Had lots of play so I rigged it until I got mh replacement. Check your rear sway bar bushings. Heck, check front too.
