I have a 2009 3.6 TDV8 diesel, 100.000km, had to change my intercooler hose 2 times the last 4 years, both times I installed Land Rover original parts. Now I decided to install a stronger hose, the problem is that the in/out diameters are not the same, so I had to put a steel union between the 2 hoses. My question: The steel union I used made the pipe work area smaller than it was before, will this affect the engine performance or will it cause any trouble? Thank you all!
