this message popped ip on my display on the dash... But it doesn't sound or drive any differen

only happened on startup a couple of times for about a second then goes away

anyone know more about this?

Probably a battery about to die. If it is original change it before it leaves you stranded. From P38's on, for some reason, a low battery at start throws a transmission fault.

Yes, 4 years or 50K miles here in North America. I agree that would be my first suspect for tranny / HDC faults that clear up shortly after the car starts. That's how my OEM battery behaved for a few weeks before it died a couple of years ago.
