Engine may be worth the price of the truck.. but there is no market for them, the 4.4s are "too" reliable..
For a single solenoid, there's plenty of people on eBay that sell them. Message a few and ask if they'd be willing to sell just one.
Never hurts to ask.
Some of the Lincoln Navigators also had the 6HP-26. Find a parts yard and ask for the whole solenoid pack, larger places may only charge say $50.
