Can someone tell me how to access the release for the tailgate from inside the car?
I have a 1999 p38. The tailgate latch was always a little finicky but now I cannot get latch to open to identify problem.
Curious thing, one hour ago i was adding a switch to open the tailgate from the inside and removed furniture and panel to access the latch.
I believe you can lay down the small plastic part that hides the hinges of the tailgate and where is written Range Rover for the boot.
Then you have to unscrew 3 plastic screws to remove the carpet of the tailgate (in my case i had a plastic sheet to protect it) and that's it.
Of course, it's much easier to do that with the tailgate opened...

I have sprayed the bag, the valve block, the hoses, inlets etc. No Leaks.
I even removed and checked the height sensor FLH, seems fine.
Any help ideas?
