You just need a conversion harness or to repin the connector for the lights to function correctly. Otherwise they bolt right in.

Hey folks, does the 2017 face-lift tail lights fit on the 2014 pre face-lift models or do I need to replace other parts?

you can buy the conversion harness from powerfuluk, alibaba or eBay. Readily available and pretty cheap. I went with original lights because I found a deal that was too good to be true, but there are aftermarket options that are available on the above three sites as well.Cool. Because I do like the newe lights that's about the only think I want from the face-lift
