Gentlemen,
Sounds odd, but when I depress my brake pedal the tachometer on this '95 RRC goes to zero.
When I take my foot off the brake, the tachometer returns to the correct RPM.
Starting the truck with foot off the brake, the tach is normal.

Sounds as if the brake circuit is shorting the tach, but where do they intersect?

Many thanks for your help!

I tried starting this truck with the brake depressed and the tach did operate, but only for 10 seconds or so before it died.
Of course, after trying this experiment the tach is refusing to operate period.
What do you think, Click & Clack of Rovers?

Thank you!
