Since my truck is from the US I would like to swap a Canadian Cluster into it. Ive found one, almost Identical mileage, is it just a matter of swapping them or is it more complex? On newer BMW"s you need the dealer to program it. IS this the case with 01's and 02's or can I just remove it from the parts truck and swap into mine?

Thanks.

You can just swap them.

Typically though, it will read whichever one has the higher mileage... ie...if your rig has 26k on it, and the new cluster has 32k, it will stay at 32k when you install it.

BUT...I have no idea what it's going to do when you put one in that's in KM instead of Miles...you may need a little dealer intervention...maybe.
