Things which are different off the top of my head:-
wiring harness (maybe only the engine harness)
engine ECU
gearbox ECU
radiator and hoses
fan and shroud
engine cooler
gearbox cooler
acoustic panels under engine and gearbox
exhaust
fuse box
starter motor
torque converter
bellhousing
speedometer binnacle
front prop shaft
The maybe lots of other minor differences.
It is not a straightforward job and full diagnostics are needed. Nothing is impossible but I have never heard of anyone else doing it.
It is hardly economic and I certainly wouldn't do it. Petrol stays as petrol. Diesel stays as diesel.
