Just wondering if the SVR had different options for the hood from OEM.

I know there is carbon fibre but was there a aluminium option too?

Can anyone confirm if they have a SVR with the 2 vents in the middle and is a OEM aluminium bonnet?

Asking because I have the option to replace the bonnet under insurance and thought I ll get the SVR look and pay the difference.

Just the quote for carbon fibre from OEM was AUD $25,000, 😅 so looking at a better option. Insurance will only get from OEM and requires a part number for it.

SVR is carbon painted, or carbon exposed (in center), or aluminum. Aluminum does not have the center vents like the SVR carbon.

Yep looks like SVR also had the standard aluminium hood no vents. The vented ones are carbon only and restricted to SVR only VINs.

Those vented style are aftermarket and not available from OEM.
