Suspension going to Extended Height by itself

5231 Views 12 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  Richard_G
From last few weeks the suspension is going into 'extended height' automatically. I will leave the rover for day or two in the garage and it the top light will blink and the height will go to the 'extended height' level and will stay there until i go to the highway and it will come back to the normal level. Today i was driving in the town and it went to the extended height level and the top light started blinking for a while. I stopped and manually lower it the normal height. Any idea what is causing this?
Thanks in advance.

Had similar problem with going into Extended Height for no reason on it's own. If I stopped car selected Standard Ride Height all was well again for a day, week or whatever. Would also go into Fault Mode sometimes and Lock Ride in Standard Height with all Orange Lights in switch on continually.
Read Fault codes and that said something about Pressure Switch Stuck but can't remember exactly what, cleared fault and it was o.k again till the next time.

Based on Advice from Rich and Dennis Fitted new Drive Box and has been perfect ever since.
(Now proably tempting fate).

Cheers
