First time I've had air suspension, is it normal for the compressor to run on engine start up? Compressor replaced in April 2018. All air systems I have had contact with are able to hold air for a reasonable period of time, I'm concerned that I might have a leak or do these systems generally leak?

EAS in proper working order does not leak. A compressor running every time you start for any length of time indicates a leak. That leak is most likely why your last compressor wore out.
