Had my 98 RR 4.6 in storage the last three years while I was serving my country in a new way now that I am retired military, as a contractor, got it out and even though the sunroof acted up before, it does not want to close at all now but will open fine. Any suggestions? best ways to get to motor and belts?
Thanks!
Johnny

There is no belts, The cables may need to be lubed, remove the interior light front center. Just pull down on it and the world is all yours..

how does it open just fine if it doesn't close at all?

Is it sliding forward but not lifting?

The runners, cables and gearing are all accessible from above with the sunroof open. RAVE has terrific details.

I can hear motor running, display says sunroof not set. Nothing happens on open and close.
Thanks
