So it's taken me about 2 months to remove, strip, dismantle, scrub (mainly with a tooth brush) rebuild and refit the engine and I've stumbled at the last hurdle!!! The water pump p######d out of the weep hole on the side of the pump!!
Anyone know of a solution for this or is it just a new pump??
I'm not bothered about the money,it is just so frustrating after all the hard work and thorough planning!!

Just a bit of inspiration for anyone doing this at the moment,if I can do it and all that!!

Regards
Mark

Hi or bonjour,

I wouldn't risk an engine rebuilt for the cost of a water pump but do not go with Britpar Crap.
A friend of mine did have to go Genuine after less than 240 miles or 400 km.

Cheers

Flo

Yeh,I've kind of come to the conclusion that the only answear is a new pump!!
Still, at least I've had the old girl running again, all be it with a hose pipe sticking out of the header tank!! Lovely to hear the sound of the V8 again.
