Stereo head unit connections

Can anyone help me with the connections for my stereo. I know nothing about these particular type of connections, other than what is on the back of of my head unit will not connect with wiring in the range rover.

I've checked an original head unit, and that won't connect either, so at some point somebody had changed the wiring harness.

So, if anyone can tell me what these connections are called, if either is a standard, and if there is any form of adapter to so I can hook the stereo up, I'd be Most Happy.
Thanks,
James

OK, well I think I answered part of my own question. This is a Kenwood unit, so I ordered a Kenwood wiring harness. So now I just need to cut the old harness off an figure out which wires are which.
Any pointers appreciated.

Can anyone help identify the existing wiring harness in the car? I'm thinking that rather than the hassle of rewiring, I'll just buy a new head unit based on the existing wiring harness. It's an aftermarket connection, so I'm assuming it's from one of the main manufacturers. It looks like it's either the Panasonic, or the Pioneer, but I can't tell which. Anyone with more experience with these care to point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
James
No, it's just the basic setup ie front and rear speakers.
